Shirley (Sulser) Abel passed away Nov. 15, 2013 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was 78.
Born in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, she was very close to her sister Imogene, who raised her. Shirley was a high level supervisor for Kewanee Oil in Oklahoma and later moved to Philadelphia, where she met and married her husband of over thirty years, George H. Abel.
